Atlantic Blue is devoted mainly to the production of blueberries which they introduced in Huelva in 1993. They started exploiting four hectares and nowadays they have more than 400 in Almonte and Aroche. From 1995 on, they started a genetic programme and they have developed varieties of blueberries, which are protected not only in the European Union but also in other countries. Nowadays, their production is destined mainly to exportation in European countries. They are also fully spreading now in other countries like Morocco and Peru. Their priority is quality and they have the logo “FOR” (free of residues) registered in Europe.
